December

1) Boston-based Tufts Center for the Study of Drug Development has chosen Cambridge for its first training course to be held outside the United States. This has been made possible through collaboration with ScienceInform and Conseptua Training and Consulting Ltd (www.conseptua.com)
The European postgraduate course "Clinical Pharmacology, Drug Development and Regulation" will be held in King's College from 10th-12th April 2006 and is similar to the one that has been held in Boston for many years. The Tufts Center is a highly prestigious institution that develops strategic information to help drug developers, regulators, and policy makers improve the quality and efficiency of pharmaceutical development.

2) Presentation Skills for Scientists course to be held on Thursday 24th January 2006 in Cambridge Research Park, Waterbeach, Cambridgeshire. This course is sponsored by the Eastern Region Biotechnology Initiative (ERBI).
