About us

ScienceInform was founded by Dr. Ed Zanders, a biomedical research scientist with many years' experience both in academia and in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. His experiences of training for other companies convinced him that it is possible to convey technical information to clients with no prior scientific knowledge, provided the courses are designed and delivered with rigorous attention to detail. Unlike many other companies, who use a team of consultants employed on an ad hoc basis, we use one (or at most two) trainers to deliver fully integrated courses.

ScienceInform provides customised training for a range of delegates, from those with no technical background, to those with science PhDs. Based in Cambridge England, ScienceInform is at the centre of the United Kingdom's biotechnology hub and is up-to-date with the latest science and business information.

Biographies of our trainers

Ed has over twenty-five years' experience in research in biochemistry and related sciences, both within academia and as a Senior Research Manager at Glaxo in the United Kingdom and Switzerland. He is the author of many scientific publications and has presented extensively at academic and drug discovery meetings and seminars.
In addition to communication of original scientific data to fellow specialists, Ed has considerable experience in training both students and non-scientists, and has consulted for other training companies on a freelance basis.
