Session 1- Delegate presentations and feedback
Each delegate is asked to deliver a short scientific presentation with digital slides and to answer questions. The whole process is filmed and played back to highlight positive aspects of delivery style and talk content, as well as to identify areas that require improvement. The rest of the day is devoted to practical instruction on key topics associated with slide content and the process of verbal delivery. Finally, delegates are given the opportunity to apply this knowledge in a repeat of their earlier presentations while, once again, being filmed and assessed.

Session 2- Delivering the talk

TRAINERS
Two trainers work together on this one day course; one is a practising
scientist with experience in delivering and listening to scientific
presentations; the other is a trainer who covers the sessions on
verbal communication. Both have many years' experience in their
fields and work closely together to provide a fully integrated course.
